Description:
      The diatomean are silicon type deposits formed by the accumulation of fosile shells of microscopic  marine seaweeds, this mineral conveniently treated converts in a highly structured material, unshapable and of great specific surface.           
      It is usually used in wine filtration in those called earth filters.
