Perlite is a volcanic origen rock, which summited to high temperatures has the property of expanding, since it contains water and gas in oclusion in its cristalization system.

Subsequently to be used as assistant to the filtration it must suffer a micro-grinding process and selection by granulometry.

These are used in the vaccum filters to filtrate the must proceeding from the demudding.
